This section addresses the problem of informality - both in production and access to housing, as well as in the labor market and its impact on access to housing credit - in Latin America and the Caribbean. Therefore, it covers data on informal production and employment, the rate of informality, the type and frequency of access to credit, and the availability of guarantees so that informal incomes can access credit. It also includes data on public policies aimed at resolving urban informality, land regularization and urbanization of informal settlements.
